Really like the new video from Weezer for their track “Pork and Beans” which basically brings together some of the all-stars from YouTube such as the Diet Coke + Mentos Experiment, the Evolution of Dance and Miss South Carolina … this band sure do make some great videos!
The excellent ‘Bug’ featuring the even excellent-er Adam Buxton is on this Thursday at the British Film Institute, showcasing some of the wickedest contemporary music videos. I think the event is sold out now - though if you’re really desperate to get in you can sometimes turn up on the night and see if there’s any spaces. I’ll try and do a post on some of the best ones on friday …
I watched this the other week - the Family Guy episode “Blue Harvest” which is essentially a big parody of the original Star Wars film. However this is easily my favourite clip - who knew that the whole story kicked off because of bad user interface design?! Watch on YouTube
I’m really loving this post on CDM of some guys who have remade the tron movie without the use of any computer generated imagery! Watch the video here - Genius!
Then again when you combine ‘homemade’ with ‘tron’ you’re always bound to come up with a winner - who can forget good ‘ol Tron Guy a few years ago (incidentally I forgot just how tight those trousers are around the crotch - ewwwww!)
