I don’t understand how this could of happened? A right-wing, upper-class, Eton prefect who only got into politics because his dad was already an elected tory MP becomes Major of London! (Does he even live in London - wasn’t he previously the MP for Henley?)

Oh well apparently he’s a keen cyclist so maybe it’s not all bad - though I do feel this is what it must have been like to be an american who didn’t vote for Bush?!
